Job Description
Provide senior management and IT management with an integrated individual business and companywide perspective, assessing and consulting on project progress, risks and the effects of specific project requirements on other business processes and system priorities; ensure technologies are aligned with business strategies.
- Leading the demand intake process, ensuring the business case for demand meets minimum thresholds before engaging subject matter expert business analysts and engineers.
- Lead and consult with teams and other customers on critical business problems, defining business processes and research/identify enabling technologies based on customer requirements. Formulate approaches that achieve desired business objectives, including defining project/system scope and objective and assisting with business case justification.
- Partnering with business leaders, IT senior management, and peer-level managers to assess the technological cost and impact of recommended changes, help clarify project priorities, and coordinate cross-functional where common needs have been identified.
- Operating autonomously, and effectively, in performing activities, requiring only minimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. Accountable for portfolio-level delivery excellence and financial measures.
- Leads change control boards to manage the impact of scope changes across multiple capability areas.
- Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
- Accountable for successful and timely completion of all tasks/projects under direct and matrix control.
- Need to be self driven with little to no supervision required to get the tasks to closure and track the project for successfully delivery
- Ensure all the meetings are recorded and diligently send out the minutes and action item, follow up on the action items and ensure the progress is tracking towards the set end goal
- Conduct status meeting with peer PMs, with stakeholders and with business leads giving the corresponding level of information for each group to ensure everyone is on same page.
- Ensure smooth communication with IT team members, stakeholders and business and that there are no gaps during the project planning through the project execution
- 1 Assess risks timely and communicate to the right parties to ensure there is mitigation in place to reduce the overall impact
