Work Schedule: Schedule will vary but will range from 8 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday.

  • Needing to add additional pharmacy technician to shipping fulfillment team to help back fill position while FTE is being pulled to complete SME SM cloud testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis

• Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist

• Perform prescription data entry functions (preQA) by viewing images and inputting prescription information directly into the system

• Prepare and submit request for prescription refills

• Initiate clarification requests

• Receive verbal instructions from prescribers as allowed by pharmacy regulation

• Complete reorder processing for the timely filling of prescription refills

• Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements, and company policies

• Complete work list according to guidelines set by Manager

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualification & Experience:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office (i.e. biller, coder, office assistance, or prior authorization/certification) experience. Familiarity with drugs commonly used to treat chronic/debilitating illnesses.

• Licenses/Certifications: Current state’s Pharmacy Technician Certification

• Foundation Care: Licenses/Certifications: Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license OR the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire

• AcariaHealth: State pharmacy technician license relative to where the assigned pharmacy is located (exception being NY where a pharmacy technician license is not required). License required at the time of hire.

• Candidate Requirements

  • Education/Certification High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:

  • Licensure Missouri Board of Pharmacy Technician License Preferred:

  • Must haves: 2+ years of shipping/receiving, ordering, packing, warehouse or logistics experience.

  • Nice to haves: someone comfortable being on their feet all day.

Typical Day in the Role

• • Schedule will vary but will range from 8 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday. Might have to stay late depending on FEDEX pick up at end of day, but team typically tries to leave by 6 pm.

• • Typical tasks will be packing and shipping orders, receiving deliveries, restocking supplies and assisting in trash removal end of day.
