Title -- Associate Media Planner
Duration – 24 Months
Location – Irvine, CA (92612)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Associate Media Planner, you play a key role in ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of pharmaceutical advertising campaigns. You will collaborate closely with media planners, social media planners, vendors, and internal teams to drive optimal results for our clients by maximizing the impact of their media investments. Your responsibilities include managing and organizing RFPs, handling media contracting, coordinating campaign execution, overseeing budget tracking, and maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. Your proactive support and attention to detail will help ensure campaigns are flawlessly contracted, launched, and managed from start to finish
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage vendor RFPs, collecting and organizing partner data to support media planning.
• Oversee the media contracting process, including creation and management of insertion and work orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Manage advertising material trafficking and maintain updated planning documents such as media calendars and finance trackers.
• Serve as main contact for vendor billing, invoicing, and media expenditure tracking; update billing calendars and reconcile budgets.
• Ensure all media activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and industry standards, including NPP workbook creation; stay up-to-date with industry guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, healthcare, or media buying
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Self-motivated and effective both independently and within teams
