Job Title: Business Analyst V
Location: Remote

Job Description:

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

 
Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• GEO spatial expert knowledge
• Working with databases and large date set
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Python / R software
• Data Analytics and Statistics background

 
Preferred:

• Past industry preference?  - YES (Data Analytics and Statistics / Business Intelligence)
• Master’s degree preferred

 
Degree or Certification:

• Bachelors Required
• Tracking progress to the deliverables à run series of tables / summaries
