Job Description:
Software Developer Sponsor Web / .NET Full Stack Developer the Retirement Plan Services (RPS) technology team is responsible for design, implementation, and deployment of mission critical projects and applications that support the requirements of our business and customer community and provide robust and continuous operation for the management of our clients' retirement accounts.
We are looking for a mid-level developer that excels in a dynamic, fast-moving, and agile environment that is passionate about developing high quality, high performance, and scalable software.
The responsibilities of a Mid-Level Software Developer include:
Deliver new concepts and features, working alongside other Software Engineers in a cross-functional, agile, environment performing development and testing activities.
Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks including test driven development to achieve the highest quality in software delivery.
Partner with scrum master and product owner to build development sizing & cost analysis estimates.
Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans.
Additional Job Details:
Professional level .Net web and service development skills, typically built through 4-5 years of applicable experience developing in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC, or other Microsoft based development tools.
3+ years of experience developing front-end web applications using: Angular/Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, or other frameworks.
Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Karma, Load Runner or other testing tools and frameworks.
Experience developing/managing REST and SOAP-based Web Service API(s) in a transaction processing environment.
Experience with both relational and non-relational (unstructured) database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, containers, or other cloud platforms.
Experience working in CI/CD environment (Bamboo) and with the full Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Bitbucket).
Experience participating as a member of a scrum team in an agile environment.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
