Job Title - Web Copywriter Location - Boston, MA 02201 (Remote) Duration - 7 Months
JOB DESCRIPTION
The team is looking for two web copywriters to work roughly 20 hours a week through this year and ramp up to 40 hours a week into the new year.
They need to have experience writing web copy for medical device. Bonus if they specifically have experience writing web copy for diabetes. If they have experience with a global website launch, that's even more ideal.
MUST include portfolios with writing samples.
We need additional web writing capacity to support diabetes education content, website optimization efforts, and new website development. This role would focus on drafting, editing, and refining web copy based on approved content strategies and stakeholder requirements, allowing existing content production resources to remain focused on content planning, stakeholder alignment, optimization strategy, governance, and broader digital transformation initiatives. Key impact areas include:
Learning Center content development and maintenance
Draft new articles from approved content briefs
Update existing educational content
Website content optimization
Rewrite copy for pages identified as having high bounce rates or engagement challenges
Improve page clarity and readability
Implement SEO/AIO recommendations
New website development content support
Draft content for future-state website experiences
Assist with converting workshop outputs, content requirements, and stakeholder recommendations into usable copy
