The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of customer orders. Job Description: Forklift, pallet jack, andor other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fastpaced warehouse setting Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, equipment type, model, or part number Efficiently moves and loads product from staging andor storage areas into trailers Assembles customer orders from stock, stage orders, andor conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to center purchase orders Performs proper packing and prep of all outbound orders Performs QA check for equipment readiness and accuracy Requirements: Follow safety regulations while operating equipment Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. required Preferred 3 to 6 months experience in a warehouse environment Training provided as necessary Previous shippingdistribution andor warehouse experience preferred Must be able to successfully pass and maintain forklift certification Operate power industrial equipment as needed Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift andor move up to 60 pounds. This employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and can be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold, including climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
