Title: Business Analyst - 4 Duration: 7 month; Possibility of extension Location: Dallas – 2601 Victoria Ave – hybrid – onsite 2-3x/week Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)
Business group: GBME - Fixed Income US - Dallas Project: Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM)
The IT Business Analyst role is to support the MCM. The focus will be on ensuring accurate requirements are gathered and that the project delivery is executed in a timely manner.
Candidate Value Proposition: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn about MCM and about commercial real estate finance.
Typical Day in Role: • Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business requirements • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing • Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures • Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized • Communicating with project team and vendors • Make presentations to stakeholders
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 1. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst 2. 4+ years of experience working on technical projects/initiatives 3. 4+ years of experience with testing (UAT and performance testing) 4. 3+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence 5. 3+ years of previous coding experience
Soft Skills Required: • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities • Great communication skills are required, as they will regularly be communicating internally and externally -Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field
Best VS. Average Candidate: -the ideal candidate would have capital markets experience
