Job Title: Underwriting Associate Job Location: Alpharetta, GA 30022 Duration: 12 months Assignment Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm EST Work Model: In-office 5 days a week with the possibility of being able to work from home once they are trained and comfortable with the process. It will take approximately 6 weeks of training and the manager will decide if they qualify for WFH one day per week.
Job Summary:
The Underwriting Associate is responsible for supporting the underwriting process within the Wholesale Environmental group.
This position is accountable for collaborating with assigned team members to achieve service objectives for the conversion of Environmental Accounts from the old UW system into the New System.
The Underwriting Associate will prepare renewals for review by the underwriter and translate data into policy registration system.
Working closely with operations and underwriting the Underwriting Associate will ensure the achievement of accurate conversion of data and coding.
Job Responsibilities:
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures including managing electronic files, data, and records.
Experience of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes meeting established time and quality standards ensuring customer satisfaction.
Ability to establish priorities, coordinate and monitor personal work plan.
The candidate will be expected to compare and contrast year-over-year reports.
Managing an assigned book of business in order to meet stated deadlines for renewal.

Education/Required Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent.
1-2 years-Knowledge and understanding of Property and Casualty insurance principles and practices a plus.
2-3 years of experience in Customer Service.
