Job Description

Job Title: Training and Communication Coordinator
Duration: 24 Months Assignment
Location: Portland, OR (HYBRID 1-2days in office)

Description:
The Training and Communication Coordinator will be a driving force in designing, developing, and delivering engaging training for the global Software and Electronics organization at company. It will also be responsible for the distribution, coordination, and asset management of internal communications. This role will serve as a key liaison with our creative agency, ensuring smooth execution of the communication and belonging strategy. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual passionate about fostering employee growth and development through innovative training solutions and compelling communication strategies. The position requires a self-starter who can contribute creatively to the team while also being able to manage tasks well and maintain close attention to detail. Additional qualifications include the ability to write in a clear, accessible style and to provide clear creative input and feedback on existing creative and training materials. This role will be part of the Sr. VP Executive Office Team and reports to the Sr. VP Chief of Staff.

Training Coordination and Facilitation:
  • Work with stakeholder and subject matter experts to help design, develop, and facilitate engaging technical and non-technical training programs that meet the diverse needs of employees.
  • Create and maintain high-quality training content in various formats, including presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Leverage basic video editing skills to enhance training videos for maximum impact.
  • Collaborate with learning and development teams to properly distribute trainings to various platforms.
  • Research and evaluate external training options, including demos, pricing, and availability.
  • Facilitate payment processing for external training vendors.
  • Internal Communications Coordinator:
  • Serve as a communications liaison between the creative agency.
  • Organize agendas and workshops for the communication council, a collective of key stakeholders that support strategy and execution.
  • Support and manage the primary communication channels: internal social intranet, global town halls, the monthly newsletter, an internal LinkedIn group, and updates to documents that describe our organization.
  • Research, write, edit, produce, and distribute a wide variety of communications that inform and engage employees.
  • Support a high-volume of communication initiatives at the same time, meeting tight deadlines, working under pressure, and with an eye for detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the department and cross functionally across the company to plan and support employee communications.
  • Participate in special projects and activations as needed.
  • Stay abreast of the latest internal communications channels and feedback loops and identify new opportunities to reach employees.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Training Coordination, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in German is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, internal social intranet, MS Suite, and common e-learning authoring tools.
  • Strong digital document organization methods.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience with learning management systems and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
  • A positive attitude and passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Must be comfortable with flexible hours (some early meetings and some late meetings).

  • Microsoft Office Collaboration Suit Exp is a must
  • Writing Copywriting stories for articles / LSM Exp
  • Fimiary with ENG culture would be a plus (it would make it easier to work with and collaborate with the ENG teams for training materials)
