Job Description: Test Engineer V
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 12 months

Summary:
The main function of a test engineer is to research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards.

Must have skills:
  • 5 years professional experience characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar
  • Working on 3D testing
  • Data analysis experience
Good to have skills:
  • Image processing background
  • Signal Processing
  • C++
Job Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience on 2D or 3D camera module test, calibration and characterization
  • Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
  • Design test plan and perform end to end test setup, data collection, and analysis for setting up test specs and validation
  • Improve test coverage by developing lab and factory tests, including metrology and algorithm development
  • Module level failure analysis
  • Review and approve sampling procedures and designs, forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Experience in E2E production/factory test is a plus (proto-build to mass production)
Skills:
  • Precise verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong data analysis capability in Python or Matlab
  • Test automation capability in Python or Matlab
  • Image processing background is a plus
  • Signal processing for depth measurement systems is a plus
Education/Experience:
  • Masters degree in optics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or similar
  • 5 years professional experience characterizing, testing, or designing semiconductor devices, imagers, depth cameras, or similar
  • 2 years experience with bringup and debugging of electronic devices
  • 2 years experience with statistical data analysis
