Job Description The Mechanical Design Technician – Senior will operate complex equipment and analytical tools to process state-of-the-art 12'' silicon wafers in a cleanroom environment. The role requires adherence to cleanroom protocols, including full gowning in a Gore suit that covers the technician from head to toe. Primary job duties include performing a variety of routine operations supporting wafer fabrication within a specific functional area. The position involves working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications. Technicians will work 12-hour shifts, spending the majority of their time standing. Some tasks may involve repetitive motion. Responsibilities may include minor preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing, and problem-solving.
Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
Associate’s degree (technical discipline) and 1 year of work experience in a semiconductor cleanroom.
OR Minimum 3 years of work experience in a semiconductor cleanroom.
OR Minimum 3 years of work experience in a production environment with a focus on utilizing computers/software.
OR Strong military experience with some post–high school education (degree not required).
