This role combines responsibilities of a service technician, maintenance technician, and analysis technician. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation systems, a strong technical background, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and repair computer-controlled systems and robotic devices in industrial and commercial settings.Provide immediate response to equipment malfunctions and escalate unresolved issues to management and engineering teams.Perform scheduled maintenance and diagnostics as outlined in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) documentation.Troubleshoot and diagnose automation control systems using schematics, diagrams, and manufacturer documentation.Install, configure, and commission new robotic systems and production equipment, including hardware upgrades.Execute automation programming tasks and support software adjustments in collaboration with engineering.Record and analyze data related to root cause analysis, corrective actions, and maintenance activities.Monitor and support process improvements and assist engineering teams with process changes.Communicate effectively with production, quality, engineering, and management teams.Support machine configuration, fixture setups, and adjustments for operators.Ensure compliance with safety procedures, training, and EHS standards.Utilize advanced technical knowledge to analyze and resolve complex hardware issues.Required Qualifications:Experience: 2–4 years in a related industrial automation or technician role.Education: Associate’s Degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)Technical Skills:Strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, computers, and automated systems.Experience with automation software and control systems.Familiarity with motion sensors, control components, pneumatic devices, and photosensors.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted and 50 lbs assisted.
