Position Title: Technician I/II, Central services Work Location: Athens, GA 30601 Assignment Duration: 6 Months Work Arrangement: Onsite
Position Summary: • To perform any process duties associated with indirectly supporting the production of all vaccines. • Will work within tank and central services department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of equipment that supports vaccine manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities: • Support the vaccine production schedules by following a Tank and Central Services scheduling board. • Perform steam in place equipment(SIP) and clean in place of mobile process equipment (CIP). • Prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving. • Perform decontamination of garments, equipment & roller bottles by autoclaving • Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes. • Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills • Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances • Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives • Assessment of individual performance in regards to the continuous improvement (AAI) • Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)
Qualification & Experience: • Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing • Results oriented and ability to meet firm deadlines while working in a complex and variable environment • Basic math skills, equipment/process trouble shooting skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Demonstrated ability to problem solve. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Preferred laboratory experience and manufacturing experience.
