Title: Technical Requirements Writer
Location: Round Rock, TX 78682
Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension


The Technical Requirements Writer on our Controls Modernization team in Round Rock, TX, USA to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. The client's Security & Resiliency organization manages the security risk across all aspects of business. You will have an excellent opportunity to influence the security culture and further develop your career.

What you’ll achieve:
Help modernize its implementation and operation of Security and Resiliency controls through standardization, automation, and integration.

You will:
Work with security and resiliency technical control owners across Cybersecurity, Product & Application Security, Physical Security, Resiliency, and Information Technology to understand and write/edit technical policies, standards, and implementation requirements documentation, ensuring they are understandable for humans with varying levels of technical knowledge, and standardized for AI consumption by aligning with various organizational frameworks and content schema. The role requires use of appropriate editorial and logical methodologies and process management, partnering with internal stakeholders to meet the documentation needs for various security and resiliency technical controls.

Essential Requirements
• 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong technical concept acumen to understand, evaluate, and document technical processes, requirements, and assurance procedures.
• Writes, edits, and proofreads technical policy, standard, implementation requirements documents, ensuring consistency across various types of documentation.
• Collaborates with security and resiliency technical control owners to develop content for standard documentation sets, in alignment with organizational framework and content schema, and mapped to appropriate personas and asset types.
• Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking skills to understand advanced technical concepts, implementation nuances, and exercises independent judgement for obtaining results.
• Manages schedules for document creation, defines and implements processes for modifying content, ensuring global relevance, sensitivity, and accessibility compliance.

Nice To Haves:
• 6+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
