Job Title: Technical Program Manager V
Duration: 12 months
Location: Remote (must work PST hours)
 
Job Description:
The client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our efforts in addressing climate change impacts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and managing the day-to-day program management aspects of steering the team on execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess potential climate-related risks and opportunities for our client's operations and supply chain
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and data science teams, to develop and implement sustainability and net zero initiatives
  • Manage the day-to-day program management aspects of steering the team on execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts within and outside of our client.
  • Communicate progress and results to stakeholders and leadership
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, engineering, business)
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a sustainability or environmental context
  • PMP Preferred
  • Strong understanding of sustainability and net zero concepts
  • Experience working with data engineers and data science teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Passion for addressing climate change and its impacts
