Summary:
Looking for an experienced technical program manager with proven experience in privacy, compliance and/or audit functions and a product / data-driven mindset, who is able develop and execute internal program strategy balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. This position requires the ability to build expertise across a diverse set of focuses, develop plans with cross team dependencies, and drive execution through influence or direct intervention.
The candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams, and a rigorous, analytical and strategic approach to problem solving. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across complicated, often distributed, product, operational and legal teams, and systems. They will be comfortable deep diving into new product functionality to evaluate and understand the impact to existing policies, designs and systems. In addition, the candidate will need to have strong written communication skills to articulate issues, trade offs, risks and proposals.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage a group or groups of internal exempts and matrixed employees and contractors that serve on the project(s) to deliver systems and systems enhancements that meet specified requirements.
Oversight of project scope definition and management, requirements gathering and documentation, time estimating, project schedule development and tracking, project budget management, project status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.
Effectively and strategically drive alignment among product managers, privacy stakeholders, legal, engineering teams in a timely manner.
Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions
Communicate product/program decisions to the broader cross-functional team, and ensure that those decisions are properly implemented
Evaluate, evolve and create program controls and protocols working with legal and privacy product teams.
Provide guidance to product, business, and engineering teams on complying with the Privacy Program and its day-to-day objectives.
Translate legal and privacy regulatory requirements to product and engineering teams leveraging a user first mindset to enable automation and compliance by design.
Skills:

Proven people management and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
Experience with software development lifecycle
Strong communicator in both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with privacy policies, regulations, privacy or technology law, policy, programs, or other related field
Experience in launching external facing products
Experience in managing platforms for 3rd party developers.
Compliance experience including conducting periodic internal and external reviews or company audits to ensure that the firm is compliant with laws, rules and regulations
Regulatory knowledge including developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies, and evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
Technical expertise including Data Life Cycle Management, Dashboarding, Data Analysis, SQL, and Database Management
On-site availability in the Menlo Park, CA offices.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.

Host weekly check in with cross functional teams
Create write ups on proposal and decisions to broader cross functional teams
Create and maintain project tracker and execution plan
Facilitate discussions with relevant stakeholders to drive alignment, record meeting minutes and action items.
Support audit reporting.
Follow up on open items
