Title: Technical Program Manager II Location: Burlingame, CA Duration: 12 months
Job Description: Technical Program Manager - Virtual Reality Operating Systems: Looking for experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will play a key role in driving highly complex, cross-functional programs. We are looking for TPMs with a proven track record of developing and shipping high quality products and experiences. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class development teams and leaders across the organization to deliver trustworthy experiences into client's products (such as Oculus, Portal, Ray ban Wayfarer, etc.).
Key day to day responsibilities:
Manage internal software team engagements with Qualcomm across multiple SOC programs for Meta Quest devices
Ensure Operating System teams request and obtain necessary quantities of hardware for each future Meta Quest device in development
Android operating system would be nice, but windows or Linux based operating system.
Medium to high complexity consumer products
Technical communication, someone who has experience with systems software engineering is softly preferred to communicate effectively with the team.
Program management
Nice to have skills:
Qualcomm technology/partnership experience
New Product Introduction (NPI) / Product Development Process (PDP) experience
Board support package / SOC software

Degrees/Certifications Required:
B.S. in engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
