Job Description: The Technical Designer for Handbags is responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical specifications to ensure accurate development, function, and quality of handbag products. This role partners closely with design, product development, and GIS to bring designs to life while maintaining brand standards and production efficiency.
• Review prototypes, samples, and pre-production pieces, providing clear feedback and corrections
• Ensure design intent, functionality, and durability of handbags (e.g., strap length, weight distribution, closures)
• Communicate directly with factories/vendors to resolve technical issues and clarify construction details
• Create BOM and upload tech pack to right tools for vendor communication.
