Job Summary We are seeking a Strategic Talent Advisor to design and execute data-driven recruiting strategies aligned with business and workforce needs. This role acts as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, providing market intelligence, talent insights, and strategic guidance throughout the hiring lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-cycle recruiting expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence hiring outcomes in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Talent Advisory
Design and implement data-informed recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning needs
Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by providing market insights, talent recommendations, and hiring guidance
Lead intake sessions to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring priorities
Apply enterprise and functional knowledge to influence recruitment strategy and outcomes
Pipeline & Sourcing Management
Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Utilize multiple sourcing channels, tools, and outreach strategies to engage candidates
Analyze labor market trends, competitive talent dynamics, and employer branding impact to guide sourcing strategy
Candidate Assessment & Selection
Conduct skills-based and competency-based candidate evaluations
Partner with interview teams to ensure consistent, structured, and fair interview processes
Develop interview guides, facilitate debrief discussions, and consolidate feedback into actionable summaries
Support inclusive hiring practices by ensuring diverse and well-rounded candidate slates
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build strong partnerships across Talent Acquisition, HR, and business stakeholders
Deliver a positive, transparent, and professional candidate and hiring manager experience
Communicate effectively across diverse audiences in one-on-one and group settings
Promote a collaborative, enterprise-wide (“One Schwab”) approach by sharing best practices
Business Acumen & Leadership
Apply strong business understanding and critical thinking to manage competing priorities
Ensure compliance with hiring policies and support risk-aware decision-making
Continuously develop expertise in talent acquisition strategies and supported industries
Mentor or support team members and contribute to team initiatives when needed
Required Qualifications
5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in corporate or retained search environments
Proven experience recruiting for complex or hard-to-fill roles
Strong experience in skills-based and competency-based candidate assessments
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing insights and recommendations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting across multiple business functions or industries
Knowledge of workforce planning, talent market analysis, or employer branding
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience
