The Opportunity:
  • We are looking for a skilled and passionate Prompt Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team as a contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-powered development in the medical device industry. You will play a key role in leveraging large language models (LLMs) like Gemini to streamline our product development process, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Product Requirements Generation: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to generate comprehensive and detailed product requirements using Gemini.
  • Test Code Generation: Develop test cases and code using Gemini, ensuring thorough coverage and efficient testing of our medical devices.
  • Prompt Engineering: Craft and refine effective prompts for Gemini to achieve optimal results in various tasks related to product development.
  • Traceability: Implement and maintain traceability between product requirements, test cases, and design documents using Gemini.
  • Knowledge Management: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and LLM technology, specifically in the context of medical device development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Subject Matter Experts and engineers to implement and optimize AI-powered workflows.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum of two years of developer experience
  • Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Experience with LLM prompt engineering
  • Experience building LLM agents (depending on the project's specific needs)
  • Fluency with machine learning, deep learning techniques, and LLM fine-tuning.
  • Experience building complex applications with the OpenAI API or other LLMs
  • Knowledge of classical NLP
