We are looking for a skilled and passionate Prompt Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team as a contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI-powered development in the medical device industry. You will play a key role in leveraging large language models (LLMs) like Gemini to streamline our product development process, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
Responsibilities:
Product Requirements Generation: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to generate comprehensive and detailed product requirements using Gemini.
Test Code Generation: Develop test cases and code using Gemini, ensuring thorough coverage and efficient testing of our medical devices.
Prompt Engineering: Craft and refine effective prompts for Gemini to achieve optimal results in various tasks related to product development.
Traceability: Implement and maintain traceability between product requirements, test cases, and design documents using Gemini.
Knowledge Management: Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and LLM technology, specifically in the context of medical device development.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Subject Matter Experts and engineers to implement and optimize AI-powered workflows.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
Minimum of two years of developer experience
Must-Haves:
Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
Experience with LLM prompt engineering
Experience building LLM agents (depending on the project's specific needs)
Fluency with machine learning, deep learning techniques, and LLM fine-tuning.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience building complex applications with the OpenAI API or other LLMs
Knowledge of classical NLP
