Title: System Analyst Duration: 03 months assignment with the high possibility of extension or conversion Location: 100% Remote
Description: The Data Tools and Products team is building out Self-Service Analytics with the goal of allowing non-technical business users the ability to access the data on our cloud data platform to query the data in support of critical business analytics and reporting.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Gathers and documents solution requirements. Documents user story creation and backlog grooming results in an agile environment.
Develops business process designs.
Supports solution testing efforts
Uses data queries to support validation of data, write ad-hoc queries for data analysis in an azure, databricks environment.
Coordinates and drives issue resolution within the team and cross-functionally, effectively communicating with end-users to gather information and convey status.
Creates and maintains systems documentation (e.g. Wiki, Knowledge Base Articles)
Effective interaction with business partners, responding quickly and thoroughly to issues and requests.
Provides constructive input and perspective to team conversations.
Familiarity with OAC (Oracle Analytic Cloud), Power BI or MicroStrategy BI tools.
Familiarity with basic principles of relational databases and data modeling
