Job Title: Sustainability Program Manager Location: Hybrid - Bay Area, Omaha, NE, Bellevue, WA (2+days/week, Thursday required, remaining days flexible) Duration: 12-months
Overvierw The Supplier Programs Manager role requires a strong data analytical foundation and will help to develop and maintain the reporting infrastructure, data analytics, and data visualization to support Supplier Programs efforts within the Infrastructure Business Engineering team. In this role they will work closely on Supplier Programs including Responsible Sourcing and sustainability efforts to support reporting needs, competitive insights and benchmarking, while maintaining datasets around carbon reporting and supplier diversity spend reporting. Their efforts will drive transformative and meaningful changes to data management and optimize current processes around data collection. This role will focus on supplier engagement around carbon reduction efforts, supporting cross functional efforts around responsible sourcing, strong foundational understanding of scope 3 and GHG accounting, and proven track record on driving supplier engagement within Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Supply Chain functions.
Their efforts will include rigorous assessments of sustainability metrics and carbon footprint accounting and forecasting. They will collaborate cross-functionally to drive sustainability solutions
Key Responsibilities
Provide support in the development of the Supplier Relationship Management and Responsible Sourcing Programs datasets (Supplier Diversity and Supplier Sustainability) & related processes
Responsible for the Supplier Enablement processes and driving engagement directly with Suppliers
Ability to collect, compile, combine, and cleanse data sets to optimize datasets and reporting
Analyze and evaluate GHG data, metrics/targets, forecasts, and methodologies to drive robust sustainability enablement with suppliers and within the Global Strategic Sourcing organization
Drive road mapping process for carbon reduction efforts and climate goals
Partner with internal cross functional teams to drive responsible sourcing initiatives
Manage data cleansing processes required for supplier diversity enrichments and reporting
Develop dashboards to track responsible sourcing targets and performance while ensuring accurate data collection
Perform manual data entry tasks, develop solutions for data automation, and reporting enhancements
Conduct industry benchmarking and research on carbon reduction strategies within indirect supply chains
Strong experience with carbon accounting and carbon reduction strategies
Develop SOPs for Supplier Program related processes and initiatives
Collaborate cross functionally with sourcing team members, business partners, and suppliers
Establish framework for building data visualization and toolsets for Supplier Programs
Ability to design and build a Supplier Program platform that contains all supplier program data, KPIs, metrics, dashboarding, and scorecarding efforts
Segmentation of Suppliers and annual Supplier data efforts
Assist in other projects at the discretion of the manager as needed
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS Degree
5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, data management, carbon accounting, supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, operations or process documentation
2+ years of professional experience in environmental science, sustainability, data science, analytics, reporting, or a similar discipline
2+ years of professional experience in greenhouse gas, carbon accounting, sustainability forecasting, and data modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent analytical, verbal, presentation and written skills.
Ability to consolidate and manage data to drive meaningful insights.
Demonstrated ability to manage & maintain timelines.
Superior ability to multi-task.
Project management and supplier relationship management skills
Advanced pruriency in PowerBI and Excel
Strong experience in all other computer applications such as Microsoft Suite specifically and other analytical tools, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Lucidcharts
Robust process documentation experience
Ability to work in a team environment, yet be self-directed, pro-active and action-oriented.
Demonstrated analytical skills and extremely high attention to detail.
