Job Description

Title: Sustainability  Environmental Performance Assistant
Duration: 4 Months
Location: Salisbury, NC

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Assistant with a strong emphasis on data analysis. The ideal candidate will support our sustainability initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to environmental performance, resource usage, and sustainability metrics. This role will be critical in helping to drive our sustainability goals and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, Excel).
• Familiarity with sustainability metrics and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:1. Data Collection and Management:o Validate data related to sustainability metrics such as energy usage, waste management, water consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions.o Maintain databases and tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of sustainability data.2. Data Analysis:o Analyze sustainability data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.o Utilize statistical software and tools to perform quantitative analysis and create models for sustainability performance.3. Reporting and Documentation:o Prepare detailed reports and presentations on sustainability metrics and performance for internal and external stakeholders.o Document methodologies, assumptions, and sources of data to ensure transparency and reproducibility.4. Support Sustainability Initiatives:o Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability programs and initiatives.o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into business operations.5.
