Job Description Premier operational excellence is a cornerstone of company's ability to surprise and delight their customers. To that end, the Americas Operations Group is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual for the role of Supply Demand Planner. As a member of the Supply Demand Management (SDM) team, you will join a highly influential group within company challenged to scale at the pace of the company’s overall growth. You will develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Product line assignments will be made at the time of hire.
Key Qualifications
Advanced Excel skills is required.
SAP experience is desired.
Combination of excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy and leadership skills.
Comfortable working with large data sets and have a persistent attention to detail.
Expert level excel skills
Ability to trouble shoot issues, navigate multiple systems and quickly learn new processes while identifying process improvement opportunities.
Ability to influence in a matrix organization, be a strong collaborator and communicator
Prior experience in fields that demand complex quantitative analysis such as finance or consulting is desired.
Prior experience in product planning, production control, inventory management, or production / manufacturing operations is desired.
Job Duties
You will forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell-through. Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet client's financial objectives. Evaluate risks. Plan and implement contingency plans.
You will analyze product sales and find opportunities to drive partner groups to appropriate action.
You will partner closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch targets and to ensure smooth product transitions.
You will collaborate with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components.
Ensure raw material inventory targets are achieved, and minimize materials obsolesce during product transition.
Present product updates and recommended actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis.
Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process. Marshal resources and drive projects to completion.
Less than 10% required travel.
Education
MBA, master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, is desired
