Position Summary Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Senior Associate supports the execution of Transportation Qualification and Cold Chain activities to ensure compliant and risk-based distribution of temperature-sensitive materials. This role works cross-functionally with Quality, Thermal Engineering (Cold Chain), Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to support qualification studies, documentation, and compliance activities. The position primarily focuses on execution, documentation, and data analysis related to transportation qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of transportation qualification studies, including coordination with Thermal Engineering Labs and Sample Management.
Collect, organize, and analyze temperature monitoring and shipment data.
Draft qualification protocols and reports, including data gathering, analysis, and interpretation.
Support deviation investigations, change controls, and CAPA documentation related to transport activities.
Draft documentation to support Marketing Authorization Applications (MAA) and respond to regulatory agency inquiries related to transportation.
Maintain transportation SOPs and controlled documents in compliance with GMP/GDP requirements.
Collaborate with Quality and Thermal Engineering teams to interpret data and maintain inspection-ready documentation.
Track qualification timelines and support cross-functional project coordination.
Perform shipment performance trending and assist with risk assessments.
Manage and support multiple transportation studies simultaneously across different lifecycle phases.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field OR
Associate’s degree with 6 months of work experience OR
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of work experience
0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
Basic understanding of GMP principles (academic or professional exposure).
Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
PreferredQualifications
Exposure to cold chain logistics, validation, or quality systems.
Familiarity with deviation management, CAPA, and change control processes.
Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with parcel, transportation, and warehouse provider operations.
Ability to interact with different organizational levels and drive tasks to completion.
