Description:
The Supply Chain Manager in Global Distribution – Strategy and services team will be expected to ensure quality of the Global Distribution performance data, that the analytics are in alignment across the globe and achieve standardization of the KPIs. The candidate will apply Supply Chain technical knowledge to support the business in the decisions of analytics, its definition and standardization. Additionally, the candidate will apply Supply Chain technical knowledge to support the business in identifying productivity and improvement opportunities related to GD processes and vendor management.

Major Accountabilities

§ Apply the Supply Chain knowledge and experience to support the GD business unit to develop and manage the Service Level Agreements between the regions within Distribution and Transportation Hubs
§ Apply the Supply Chain knowledge and experience to identify and establish the KPIs to measure the performance of the Service Level Agreements
§ Responsible for the forums with Distribution and Transportation Hub representatives to evaluate standardization, leverage best practices and improvement opportunities amongst their processes
§ Responsible for achieving the assigned metrics performance, to support the performance data quality of Global Distribution, to partner with metric owner to establish action plans for out of track results and of proposing improvement opportunities when those are identified
§ Supports the coordination of the Operating Business reviews for the Global Distribution organization ensuring that performance metrics are reviewed and aligned with the latest goals and strategies
§ Collaborate on initiatives to develop and drive change management plans to roll out vendor management, risk management; as well as ensuring its sustainability
Day to Day Responsibilities:
§ Apply the Supply Chain knowledge and experience to support the GD business unit to evaluate current metrics, define changes required, standardization and creation of new metrics when applicable.
§ Ensures alignment in calculation of KPI for the functions covered by global distribution across the globe and standardization of definitions per function.
§ Ensure the quality of data used for performance management and analytics and will seek to achieve automation in the calculation of the defined metrics
§ Works in alignment with the current enabled technologies at Amgen to ensure standardization of the visualization of the KPIs across the functions/regions.
§ Supports the coordination of the Operating Business reviews for the Global Distribution organization ensuring that performance metrics are reviewed and aligned with the latest goals and strategies
§ Apply the Supply Chain knowledge and experience to support the GD business unit to develop and manage the Service Level Agreements between the regions within Distribution and Transportation Hubs
Top 3 Must Have Skills:
-Supply Chain Business Process Expertise
-Supply Chain Data management experience
-Demonstrates strong executive presence, capable of quickly establishing credibility and influencing individuals at all organizational levels.
Basic Qualification:
3+ years of proven experience in a reimbursement HUB, medial insurance, physician office OR healthcare setting

Basic Qualifications

• Master’s Degree & 2 years of directly related experience Or
• Bachelor's Degree & 4 years of work experience Or
• Associate degree and 8 years of experience Or

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience in International, Pharmaceutical or Supply Chain Environment
• Experience in project management
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing
• Strong problem solver
• Good communications skills with all levels of an organization (written and oral)
• Effective collaborator and passion for continuous improvement.
• Self-starter with high attention to detail, able to work on assigned tasks independently, able to identify and initiate discussions about opportunities for process improvement.
• Good organization and time management skills, ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

A successful candidate will also have:

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or SCOR certification
• Knowledge of MS Project, Operational Excellence tools
• Process understanding, analysis and ability to visualize them
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Experience working with complex projects or processes and can utilize change management to drive results
• Able to work both autonomously and in teams
