Title: Strategy & Operations - Merchant Occasions
Location: 100% Remote - EST preferred
Duration: 2+ months Assignment (10 Weeks Project)

On the Merchant Strategy & Operations team, our mission is to have best-in-class restaurant selection for Consumers and build products and services for our Merchants to grow their businesses profitably for client.

About the Role:
  • Throughout the year there are occasions where either shopping or eating is at the center (think July 4th or Black Friday etc), as well as our tentpole savings event Summer of DashPass.
  • In this role, you will help the Merchant Strategy and Operations team build a best in class experience for Restaurants.
  • You will do this by supporting marketing activations, running ad operations, supporting merchants during campaign activation, testing new products, and helping us improve the overall go to market process.
  • This is a highly cross-functional role interacting with Marketing, Sales, Ad Operations, and our Customer Experience teams.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Build and launch campaigns for upcoming marketing occasions, ensuring alignment with contracts and marketing plan goals.
  • Develop Support and Merchant-facing guides to assist stakeholders in responding to merchant inbounds and escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new products, providing valuable feedback to enhance product functionality and user experience.
  • Partner with the Occasions team to test merchandising setups before launch, ensuring optimal presentation and visibility of products.
  • Engage directly with Merchants during campaign activation to identify pain points and recommend solutions.
  •  Build processes to help better communicate with Merchants and Sales teams during campaign activations.
