Job Description

Location: Juncos, PR

Summary
Work under limited supervision, coordinates multiple projects for a specific functional area. Act as lead on more complex projects. The majority of time spent in this position is coordinating projects. Responsibilities not associated with projects such as scheduling meetings, answering phones for managers, should take only a minor amount of the Project Coordinator's time.

Functions
  • Implement and coordinate complex projects as assigned.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with staff and/or outside contractors.
  • Conduct meetings and/or facilitate meetings.
  • Coordinate project team meetings, i.e., make sure the necessary staff is invited to meets; ensure essential material is available for meets, etc.
  • Lead coordination of special projects.
  • Develop project schedules, ensuring the project timelines/deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for tracking and documenting progress of projects.
  • Monitor project expenses.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks as necessary to complete projects.
  • Provide manager with status/activity reports.
  • Create complex presentation materials and spreadsheets.
  • Determine project requirements and present drafts to manager.
  • May participate in the presentation of completed projects.
  • Make recommendations and troubleshoot and/or problem solves.

Education
  • Associate's degree & 4 years of Project Management experience or High school diploma / GED & 6 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Regulated environment experience in Manufacturing operations.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing batch records execution.
  • Organization and good communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Advanced word processing, presentation and spreadsheet application skills.
  • Ability to facilitate project meetings.
  • Ability to create complex database, i.e., File maker Pro and Access.
  • Preferred strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing projects, problem solving, and providing solutions.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Independently understand, follow and implement complex instructions.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all-levels.
  • Ability to use good judgment in making decisions.
