Job Title: Sr PACS Analyst – Outage Response Specialist Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12+ Months Job Summary: We are seeking highly experienced Senior PACS Analysts to join a specialized team focused on resolving major system outages across enterprise imaging environments. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Merge and/or Change Healthcare PACS, a strong grasp of DICOM standards, and experience supporting both radiology and cardiology imaging systems. Unlike implementation-focused roles, this team will be the first line of defense during critical system failures, ensuring rapid recovery and continuity of care Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert-level support during major PACS outages across multiple healthcare facilities • Troubleshoot and resolve complex DICOM and imaging workflow issues. • Support both radiology and cardiology PACS systems • Collaborate with internal teams to stabilize and restore imaging systems • Document incident response procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing • Coordinate with modality vendors and clinical teams during high-impact events • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency support Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in PACS administration or support • Proven expertise with Merge PACS and/or Change Healthcare PACS • Strong understanding of DICOM standards, imaging workflows, and modality integration • Experience supporting radiology and cardiology PACS • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with ancillary or post-processing imaging applications • Familiarity with enterprise imaging environments • Prior experience in incident response or outage management
