Job Description

Title: Sr. Front-End Developer (React)
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of an extension
Location: Chicago, IL, 3 days onsite per week


Project Overview: 
Global Family Office: Wealth Passport 
We are seeking a Sr. front-end (React) Developer responsible for the analysis, design and development of scalable front-end solutions across the full secure software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. 

Contractor’s Role: 
You should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries, with an emphasis on JAVA and React. 
You will be a key member of a cross functional team following Agile development methodologies. 

Experience: 
5+ year’s experience with React and JAVA 

Qualifications: 
Knowledge of cloud development, Java, REACT, Agile development methodology. 
Knowledge of full secure software development lifecycle. 
Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
A positive goal-oriented attitude with a focus on delivery. 
Experience in docker would be a plus. 
Exp in REST API. 
Deep expertise with React and other front-end technologies.
Java

General familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, Redis.
Deep expertise with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Competent using GIT based source code management tools.
Cloud Deployment (nice to have)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design and develop effective RESTful services and APIs (microservices and micro-frontends)
Design detailed technical solutions using the best available technologies
Design, develop and unit test components as defined above
Consult with business partners on requirements and synthesize into technical requirements and designs
On the technical side, work with architects, designers and enterprise framework groups on the best solution for both business and IT
Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriately
