Summary: Reporting to the Experiential Marketing Senior Specialist, the Specialist position is crucial in developing and implementing marketing strategies for client's sport sponsorships to achieve goals. Responsibilities include crafting and executing partnership strategies, as well as monitoring and reporting on progress and outcomes, as well as event logistics planning.
This role provides activation support for various sport partnerships and assists with additional Experiential initiatives as required. It involves all aspects of sports marketing in the specific region, from creating strategic event plans to overseeing execution. This encompasses managing relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with clients and partners to fulfill partnership agreements effectively. Essential Functions: • Activation Management: o Plan and execute experiential activations according to established budget and timelines. o Develop and distribute pre-event materials like flyers, signage, and location maps. o Secure and manage vendors, ensuring smooth event execution. o Assist with on-site logistics, setup/breakdown, and quality control, ensuring seamless event flow. o Collect and report data on event performance, including registrations, leads, and social media engagement. • Content Creation & Communication: o Gather and update data from MoZeus and ESPN sources. o Maintain the Experiential Calendar for assigned region. o Create visually appealing marketing materials like event previews, flyers, and presentations. o Draft monthly highlights reports for internal stakeholders. o Prepare quarterly recaps with photos, social media mentions, and key engagement metrics. o Facilitate effective communication with the Field Team and sports partners. • Project Management & Collaboration: o Assist in large-scale planning for PSN activations and community events. o Update partner benefit trackers and asset catalogs. o Manage storage unit inventory and logistics. o Schedule and facilitate team meetings, fostering collaboration across departments. o Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies. o Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Qualifications • A strong interest in marketing, business, or communications. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Availability to commit to a set schedule for the duration of the internship. • Creativity and proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva is a plus. • Enthusiasm for sports and an interest in learning about sponsorship strategies
Experience: 0-2 years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education Integrated marketing strategy, planning and tactical experience
Education: Brand, marketing, communications or in related field - Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
