Company’s Global Trade and Customs Excellence (GTE) is an organization within the Trade Compliance function. Centralized under Global Supply Chain, this team is accountable for seamless integration of policy and execution activities for imports and exports in support of the entire company’s organization to ensure our medicines are timely delivered at the right place. Members of the GTE Office provide program oversight for trade compliance, establish controls and global standards for regional execution and are experts in international trade regulations for the bio-pharmaceutical industry.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Customs & Trade, Logistics and/ or Supply Chain AND 3 years' experience in Trade Compliance or Import/Export operations OR
Associate’s degree & 8 years' experience in Trade Compliance or Import/Export operations OR
High school diploma / GED & 10 years' experience in Trade Compliance or Import/Export operations
Preferred qualifications:
U.S. Licensed Customs Broker
Experience releasing SAP GTS processes: Blocks, IDIS, EDIS
Understanding of International Customs and World Trade Organization Regulations
Understanding of import/export processes in non-US countries
Versed in key import/export processes including valuation, commodity classification, country of origin determination
Ability to build working relationships and effectively partner cross-functionally, cross-regionally and at all levels in the organization
Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation, collaboration and executive presentation skills
Support execution staff with non-standard inquiries
Write, review, and update documentation
Propose process improvements
