Job Description:
Project Overview: Document Collaboration: Build an application for document collaboration using Box.com API Development Accelerators: Application accelerators(reusable code templates) that would allow NT application teams to build applications on Azure confirming to Client's standards
As Solutions Architect assist Digital Platform Services team in solution design and development of cloud native applications using Java, Spring Cloud and other frameworks running on Microsoft Azure by performing the following functions
Solution and Application Architecture
Solution design using Azure resources
Hands on Application development
Ensure that the applications delivered are aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards and patterns along with meeting non-functional requirements.
Qualifications (must haves)
Experience in Solution Architecture in public cloud
Experience in architecting and designing cloud native applications
Experience in Private Cloud (PCF) or Public Cloud (Azure). Preferably Azure
DevSecOps experience
Nice to have:
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Financial Industry Experience
Prior Northern Trust Experience
Daily Tasks:
Work with various stakeholders including Infrastructure, Other Product and Application Delivery teams
Participate in Scrum activities
Perform various DevSecOps activities
Technical Screen by phone: 30+ Minutes. Expect low level Java, Spring Boot and other questions In Person: 2+ hours. Solution Architecture and Application Design discussions including white boarding Panel interview: Optional with Peers
