Position Title: Solution Architect Work Location: Remote Assignment Duration: 6 months with possibility of extending
Position Summary: Our organization is a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products with plants located in multiple areas of the world. They are designing and deploying Artificial Intelligence solutions for Operations documentation, under the AIDA (AI Document Assistant) program.
Background & Context: Our organization needs a solution architect that will support the individual projects in the AIDA program to ensure there is a unified architecture. The architecture should also allow for future scalability and extensibility.
There is an existing technology stack that will be used: • AWS • Dataiku • Veeva Vault (document repository) • Various LLM tools
Key Responsibilities: • Solution Architecture: Design scalable and secure AI architectures for document generation, auditing, and standardization by leveraging our organization approved technology stack. • Technology Evaluation: Support the evaluation and selection of appropriate AI/ML models, NLP frameworks, and related technologies for document-centric automation. • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications for AI-driven document solutions. • End-to-End Implementation: Oversee the lifecycle of AI solution development through to deployment. • Innovation and Roadmapping: Stay updated on AI advancements and advocate for new opportunities to enhance document automation and quality within the enterprise. • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and provide technical guidance or training to teams involved in document assistance projects. • Technical Debt: Champion the design and implementation of maintainable, modular, and extensible AI solutions. Proactively identify, document, and address areas prone to technical debt by adhering to best practices in architecture, code quality, testing, and documentation.
Qualification & Experience: • 5–7 years of experience in solution architecture, application architecture, or senior technical design roles. • Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred). • Experience working with AI/ML, NLP, or LLM-based technologies in enterprise environments. • Familiarity with document management platforms such as Veeva Vault preferred. • Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and compliant system design principles. • Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and specifications. • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional enterprise environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Pharma and Operations experience preferred.
