This role does not involve direct work on games, but rather on the underlying foundational systems.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in real-time systems to drive integration of a first-party physics engine with a first-party game engine.
The candidate should be experienced with both game and physics engines, have extensive C/C++ experience, experience with parallel compute as well as exposure to AR/VR and/or gaming.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop the integrations of real-time components (ie. game engine - physics engine integration)
Code in C/C++ for maximum performance.
Work on performance tuning, optimization, and 3D math.
Partner across teams to ensure alignment of design.
Qualifications:
Experience in high-performance real-time systems.
Experience with physics engines and game engine development.
Highly proficient in C/C++.
Strong knowledge of performance tuning, optimization, and simulation.
Experience in the video game industry and AR/VR is a plus.
