Job Title: Software Engineer-III
Duration: 5+ Months
Location: Remote (New York City, NY)
Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong full-stack background to join our dynamic team.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and maintenance of web-based applications tailored for internal users within our organization.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while collaborating with a team of passionate professionals.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web-based applications for internal users, with a focus on both frontend and backend development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user interface.
  • Develop backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Java, to support frontend functionality and enable seamless data exchange.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web development.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React.js.
  • Solid understanding of backend development concepts and experience with server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the stack.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, or similar.
  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement, with a proactive mindset towards exploring new technologies and best practices.
