Job Tittle: Software Dev Engineer II
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Seattle, WA (prefer fully Onsite)
  • The Builder Foundations team is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will build internal applications to improve developer productivity.
  • Primary responsibilities include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging solutions, and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Typescript, JAVA, React), improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
  • Responsibilities also include updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
  • Day to Day: USUAL standups, every two weeks will have spring planning, 90% coding (By coding meaning: Code reviews, setting up AWS accounts, making sure they are building the right thing, interfacing with rest of engineers), 10% answering questions that other have on their code.
  • This role they will be learning real life skills around AWS accounts, building front end, all transferable skills.
Job Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
  • They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
Preferred Coding Skills:
  • Typescript, React and Java.
  • Familiarity with AWS.
Education and Experience:
  • A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
