Job Title – Software Dev Engineer II
Location – Bellevue, WA (Hybrid, 3 Days a week)
Duration – 11 Months
 
Job Description:
The WW Returns & Re Commerce team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to support the development of software and systems to enhance the customer returns experience and improve the recovery options. Your solutions will impact our customers directly. Primary responsibilities include participation in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services. Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Client’s Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes of our systems.
 
Preferred coding skills:
  • C/C++ and/or Java
  • Other desired technical skills include SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX
  • A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required
 
Typical Task Breakdown:
  • Participation in the design, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services
  • Working alongside development on Client Corporate and Divisional Software projects
  • Updating/enhancing our current software
  • Automation of support processes of our systems
 
Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
  • A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required
  • Preferred coding skills: C/C++ and/or Java
  • Other desired technical skills include SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX
  • They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure
 
Must Haves:
  • Java coding experience and familiarity with frameworks utilizing IOC (Spring/Guice)
  • Experience with micro services development and deployments
  • Familiarity with AWS technologies like S3, Dynamo DB, Step functions, SQS, Kinesis, RDS etc
