Job Title: Software Dev Engineer I

Key job responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
  • Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
  • Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
  • Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
  • Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
  • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
  • Software engineer role covering lifecycle of software development.
  • Support credit card and payment teams.
  • Requirement clarification, technical design, solutioning.
  • Implementation of code, tests and launch to production environment.
  • Automation with test cases.
  • Attend daily stand ups, scrum meetings, code reviews for the team.
 
Job Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
  • They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar is preferred. 
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Java, JavaScript, JavaBeans, React Native
  • Able to collaborate with other team members on projects. Needs to have high communication skills.
 
Must Have:
  • Minimum of 2 years exp
  • Required software exp: Java, JavaScript, JavaBean and React Native
 
Preferred coding skills:
  • C/C++ and/or Java.
  • A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
