Maintain software inventory and license records using systems like ServiceNow, Flexera, or similar SAM tools.
Track software lifecycle from request to retirement, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
Assist with onboarding, renewal, and offboarding processes for licensed software.
Software Request & Approval Workflow:
Coordinate intake, routing, and documentation of software requests.
Ensure completion of necessary reviews (e.g., security, architecture, EULA/legal).
Monitor SLAs and follow up with request approvers and reviewers.
Compliance & Governance:
Support audits and license compliance checks.
Identify and help remediate unauthorized or unlicensed software in the environment.
Work with governance teams to enforce policies and flag violations.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate reports on software usage, license allocation, compliance status, and cost-saving opportunities.
Provide data-driven insights to support renewals, vendor negotiations, and optimization efforts.
Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise between IT, security, procurement, legal, and end-user departments.
Provide support and training to end-users on software request processes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
2–4 years of experience in software asset management, IT operations, or business analysis.
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow), and asset lifecycle processes.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
