Job Description

Software Asset & Entitlements Support Lead
Location: Chicago, IL 60602 – Hybrid (Tuesday to Thursday)
Duration: 12 months

Software Asset & License Management is responsible for managing the license software that support the business strategic goals.

The Software Asset & Entitlements Support Lead is responsible for supporting the lifecycle of software asset and entitlements management data used for active license tracking and financial baseline and forecasting of software products, as well as the underlying SAM/ITAM data management tool. The role will utilize a combination of products and tools including Flexera One, PowerBI and ServiceNow.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Conduct health checks of the Flexera One configurations and ensure operational effectiveness
• Enable and maintain Flexera integrations and APIs
• Support Flexera platform testing relative to Infrastructure change activities
• Participate in the continuous improvement of systematic controls for software asset management
• Maintain and manage inventory of Flexera FlexNet agents including lifecycle updates
• Maintain and manage Flexera beacon operational effectiveness
• Ensure data quality software asset inventory
• Engage and align stakeholders to optimize software demand
• Planning work in conjunction with IT and business priorities
• Liaising with partners and peers throughout the organization

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with the following:
• Software demand and lifecycle management for commercial software products
• Continual process improvement perspective for software asset management
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentational
• Experience working with end users in a time sensitive environment
• Experience in Procurement and/or Finance organizations partnering with Technology and business software product owners/stakeholders is a plus
• Self-starter and be able to think ahead of issues and develop preventative solutions
