What we're looking for:

Our IT team focuses on modernizing Business Applications on our tech stack to support InStride’s growth. To that end, we are seeking a talented, highly motivated, and energetic Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our Technology team to evolve and maintain our Salesforce orgs. Reporting to the Manager, IT Operations, you will be responsible for the ongoing solution design, integrations, best practices, maintenance, and support of existing Salesforce and related integrations, and platforms.
 
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will work cross-functionally with the Sales, Corporate Partner Success, Academic Partner Success, Learner Success, Marketing, Finance, and Business Operations teams to accelerate revenue growth and teamwide productivity by leveraging our Salesforce Platform. You will be the expert in how InStride operates, integrates, leverages, and reports on the Salesforce platform and other service-based technology tools to eliminate inefficiency and champion productivity across the teams and the wider company. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter who is data-oriented, passionate about systems, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
 
Who you are:
  • 6+ years of Salesforce administration and development experience (combined)
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau & Einstein preferred.
  • Possess a diverse set of abilities to facilitate and contribute to the successful completion of technology projects that span across all Enterprise Applications, which include HRIS, SaaS app/data/automation integrations, while working with multiple internal and external partners and collaborators.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and articulate sophisticated requirements through excellent verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting integrations and automation using iPaaS platforms and low-code tools such as Tray.io, Workato, Zapier and/or Adobe Workfront Fusion
  • Strong business consulting, analytical & project management skills, with a high detail orientation
  • Background in SDLC methodologies, source code management, DevOps, automation, hardening, Salesforce Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, Lightning, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and migration tools
  • Experience with Salesforce Administration including use of custom and standard fields and objects, workflow rules, data validation rules, and page layout changes.
  • Experience developing presentation decks with precision and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-organizational thought partnership in solution design that drives relevant and measurable results.
  • Exposure to the functioning of higher education institutions through direct experience or deep affiliation with the education industry
  • High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality
 
How you will create impact:
 
  • Enhance resource distribution, be responsible for accounts and opportunities, and use Salesforce to advise data-driven choices that drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure top-notch data integrity and maintenance by handling Salesforce records from various sources, implementing strategies to clean records, and employing efficient data mapping techniques that deliver valuable and consistent data to the sales and operations team.
  • Takes a leading role and actively engages in the creation of project plans and designs for new IT-enabled solutions, as well as improvements to existing systems.
  • Assist with the design, deployment, and upkeep of enterprise application platforms.
  • Create and sustain critical metrics and support the business cycle with regular reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Hands-on with data sets and applying tools and systems to generate actionable reports and insights, aiming to boost pipeline and funnel conversion rates.
  • Help maintain and run service and sales reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Serve as a central link between departments, enhancing collaboration and building cross-organizational relationships to fulfill requirements and implement integrations.
  • Design, create, and provide comprehensive and scalable reports on pipeline health, deal management, attainment, and more, aiming to enhance visibility.
  • Collaborate across departments and with the broader business to design new and improve existing flows/automation, enhancing service automation and efficiency.
  • Orchestrate initiatives to enhance and maintain the precision of CRM information. Identify inaccuracies, resolve underlying issues, propose, and complete solutions, and implement guidelines and master data principles in concert with other groups.
  • Develop training materials for users and lead quarterly training sessions.
  • Author and keep up to date all relevant system documentation, including requirements, process flows, use cases, and procedures.
