Job Title: Senior Project Manager/Workfront Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid minimum 3 days onsite a week)
Duration: 6 months with a possibility of extension

Overview:

The Marketing Department of Client, is growing and we are looking for a highly organized project manager with a keen interest in digital platforms and managing marketing programs. This exciting role resides in the Brand, Digital & Marketing Services team and is the perfect opportunity for a mid-level manager with 3-5 years of experience.

Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of marketing projects, trafficking multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from intake and development to production and completion. This detail-oriented individual will create project plans, manage team capacity, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and direct creative agencies and internal resources for various projects. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing a large-scale marketing automation project, accounting for 50% of their time. 
The Sr. Project Manager will have the ability to effectively strategize and execute a vision for our Workfront platform. This will include streamlining and enhancing the existing platform, designing, and implementing workflows and forms, and leveraging the site to optimally support a high-paced Marketing department. As a Workfront expert, the Sr. Project Manager will take charge of refining the platform, ensuring its seamless functionality, and utilizing its capabilities to boost productivity within the team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional able to identify problems, propose solutions and implement fixes. You will possess excellent communication skills and decision-making skills.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manages marketing intake process through Workfront.
  • Schedules and leads kick-off meetings with Agency and business partners.
  • Ensure marketing briefs and intake forms are complete.
  • Works closely with AVP on project management for major company initiative. Maintain project plans, schedule meetings, follow up with deliverables for business partners
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Uses Workfront to manage project requests, leads kickoff meetings, communicates project timeline, scope and deliverables, and tracks and traffics marketing projects. Identifies potential roadblocks as necessary. 
  • Creates dashboards with department KPIs, specifically for Workfront.
  • Looks for and executes opportunities to improve department efficiency and processes
  • Provides ad-hoc marketing support
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, operations or related field
  • 3-4+ years of Project Management experience for a Marketing, Product, or Creative team
  • Workfront certified or exceptional Workfront skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skils required, with keen attention to detail
  • Previous experience managing projects and communicating between departments, across all levels of an organization
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with solution-driven resourcefulness
  • A positive attitude toward teamwork and collaboration
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team member and problem-solver
  • Must be able to come into the office three times a week
