Job Title-Senior Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer 3 Shift: 8:30AM-4:30 PM (Possible overtime) Duration-6 months (Possibility of extension/conversion) Job Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Job Responsibilities:
Attend team meeting & 1:1s as needed.
Brainstorm fixture design that can improve process performance.
Design fixture using CAD/SolidWorks that can be fabricated with appropriate materials.
Document work and drawings on document management system & equipment management system.
Become familiar with the equipment being used in development.
Recommend equipment modifications or improvements to continuously improve the product/process.
Give feedback on product design drawings and be able to translate into fixture design.
Required Skills:
CAD or Solidworks Experience (2 years min).
Ability to do a tolerance stack Up analysis.
Able to Create Drawings & Documentation.
Preferred Skills (Nice to have):
Able to Collaborate well and problem solve with team.
Be able to improve or recommend automated equipment or equipment modifications.
Dispense experience working with chemicals.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of industry experience.
Software Skills Required:
CAD or Solidworks.
