Description: With each new discovery and investigational drug candidate, we seek to improve the care of patients living with life-threatening diseases around the world. therapeutic areas of focus include virology, oncology, and inflammation. The Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) group at is seeking a candidate for the position of Research Associate with the primary responsibility to providing bioanalytical support to biologics discovery project teams. A successful scientist will work closely with protein therapeutics, biology, toxicology, and pharmaceutical development to optimize leads and select candidates for clinical evaluation.
Position Summary: The primary responsibility of this Biologics Bioanalytical Research Associate is to provide bioanalytical support to DMPK project representatives on biologics discovery teams.
Responsibilities: • Proven experience in ligand-binding assays (LBA), with a focus on protein analysis. • Strong background in developing and applying LBA -based assays for protein analysis. • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot LBA methodologies, and optimize assay performance. • Skilled in analyzing, interpreting, documenting, and summarizing bioanalytical data for biologics. • Provide essential lab support while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications: • BS/MS degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or related life science discipline with 2+ years relevant experience. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Role requires a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Candidate must be flexible, able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Requires extensive use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and use of data analysis software Graphpad Prism, SoftmaxPro, and Phoenix WinNonlin. • Hands on experience in one or more large molecule immunoassay techniques (ELISA, MSD, Gyros, or similar) is desired.
