Job Title: Senior Direct Marketing Copywriter (Sr Copywriting Analyst)

Payrate Starts From: $59/hr

Job Description
Responsible for leading direct marketing print, web, email, and television copy for Annual Enrollment and Open Enrollment sales materials.
Brainstorms and collaborates with the other team leads to determine appropriate brand messaging for communications projects
Develops and presents the best alternatives to meet cost/benefit, budget, and corporate marketing strategy requirements
Follows client content, copy, and tone of voice guidelines. Follows client guidelines so content is compliant with regulatory and trademark requirements.
Edits or supervises editing of internally-developed projects for direct marketing best practices, and grammatical and factual content
Hiring Requirements
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a corporate, agency or studio design environment with increasing responsibility
Minimum of 5 years professional experience specializing in direct marketing
Portfolio of produced direct marketing content including direct mail and multiple direct response TV spots 60 seconds or longer
Direct marketing experience with regional or national brands
Strong professional references

• A history of willingness and ability to lead and work collaboratively in a high-performance environment
• Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment, and display initiative and innovation on the job
• Leadership experience including supervision of writers and production vendors preferred.
• Excellent creative writing and conceptual skills
• Proven ability to develop fresh, original concepts
• Deep knowledge of direct marketing best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Located in Eastern or Central time zone
• We would prefer to hire a senior writer/art director team with experience working together
