Job Description

Role: Senior Digital/Visual Designer
Location: Complete Remote (Need to work Pacific Hours)
Duration: 5 + Months
 
Hands-on senior creative role comprised of running web promotion program as well as concepting big creative solutions for digital campaigns.
 
As a Senior digital designer, you will work on diverse digital initiatives and be responsible for the essence of the brand. In-depth understanding of interactive visual design principles and desire to push conceptual thinking and the latest design and technology trends will be critical in creating experiences that connect with our customers.
 
You are a talented and seasoned designer and experienced leader, with deep expertise in creating a strategic and engaging digital brand and content experiences, from brand and product narratives to web design, to content marketing experiences and everything in between. You can get hands-on creating designs and building creative assets— collaborating with content owners and product marketing teams, and our digital production team— to create the most visually compelling brand narratives in the web space. You will also collaborate and lead projects with external agencies that add scale to our team.
 
You will need to demonstrate a proven ability to work within brand guidelines and CMS templates to create compelling visual solutions to brand stories.
 
You will be a part of our Digital Creative Center of Excellence, joining a team of seasoned digital writers and designers that create content, guidelines and lead enablement across all of Organisations digital touch points globally. Our team is comprised of experienced creators and storytellers, collaborating in a multifaceted work environment to create compelling and memorable work. This role will partner with, and report, to the Associate Creative Director.
 
Responsibilities Will Include (But Not Be Limited To):
  • Understanding and interpreting brand, user, and business needs, in order to develop innovative, creative, and results-oriented digital solutions
  • Managing critical projects and implement strategic change to meet client’s needs
  • Partnering with UX Architects, Copywriters, and Technology team members to ensure design follows best practices, optimizes messaging, and is technically feasible
  • Brainstorming big ideas in a group setting and express your opinion
  • Creating concepts, mood boards, visual design comps, and other design deliverables and to promote and sell your work.
  • Present design concepts with confidence and communicate purposefully.
  • Ensuring design consistency and quality
  • Maintaining relevance in the field by monitoring digital trends, attending workshops, and joining professional group
  • Actively participating in the mentorship of Interactive Visual Designers in order to foster creative excellence and development across the team.
 Qualifications:
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating an expertise in concept and design and visual hierarchy across a variety of digital landscapes (websites, responsive design, mobile apps, web applications, digital media, email campaigns, etc.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts, BA in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of visual design experience in a collaborative environment (digital or advertising agency experience preferred)
  • Proven ability to work within brand guidelines to create compelling visual solutions
  • Proficient with a wide range of design tools, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite; motion and video editing
  • Ability to translate wireframes into beautiful and effective designs
  • Understanding of capabilities and limitations of front end technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (you will not be expected to code)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must be highly motivated, positive and a passionate team player
