About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales & Marketing Engineer to drive business growth in the Gujarat and Maharashtra region. The role involves close interaction with customers across the steel, aluminium sector. Providing engineering solutions in hydraulics and pneumatics application, along with involvement in hydraulic power pack manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site visits to customer manufacturing plants across Gujarat & Maharashtra
Understand customer requirements and provide application-based solutions in hydraulics and pneumatics
Assist in component selection, system design inputs, and product recommendations
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic components for various industrial applications
Support the design, development, and manufacturing of hydraulic power packs
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, production) for smooth project execution
Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, end-users, and consultants
Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned region
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
1–5 years of experience in hydraulics / pneumatics / industrial equipment sales (preferred)
Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems & components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat & Maharashtra
Preferred Skills
Experience in hydraulic power packs or system integration
Familiarity with Parker Hannifin hydraulic and pneumatic products
Exposure to industries like steel and aluminium.
Strong technical-commercial mindset with problem-solving ability
