Mainframe Operations: • Overall 8-10 years of experience in mainframe engineering, batch job scheduling and monitoring batch jobs • Design, develop, and maintain batch job schedules using IBM Scheduler (OPC), Autosys, and Maestro. • Monitor daily batch processing cycles, ensuring timely and successful completion. • Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling and batch job failures, collaborating with application development and infra operations teams as needed. • Review job dependencies and optimize workflows to prevent bottlenecks and improve performance. • Document batch job workflows, chedules, and operational procedures. • Support and maintain mainframe environments, ensuring batch jobs run efficiently and reliably. • Perform regular health checks and performance tuning for mainframe batch processing. • Participate in mainframe upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery testing as required.
